Terms of Service
Welcome to Animal Communication with Audrey. These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchase of an animal communication reading.
By accessing this website, submitting payment, or requesting a reading, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to purchase a reading.
By submitting information about an animal, you confirm that you are the animal’s guardian or have permission from the animal’s guardian to request the reading and share the submitted information and photos.
Animal Communication Readings
Animal Communication with Audrey provides private, asynchronous animal communication readings based on the photographs, questions, and information you submit.
No appointment is required. I connect telepathically with your animal and email you a written record of the conversation.
Each $149 reading is for one animal. A separate reading must be purchased for each additional animal so each animal receives their own time and attention.
How the Process Works
To request a reading:
Submit payment through Stripe.
Email your name, your animal’s name, one to three photographs, and any questions or details you would like me to explore.
Once payment and the required information have been received, I will confirm your anticipated reading timeframe.
Your completed written reading will be delivered to the email address you provide.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your spam or junk folder. Delivery may be delayed if payment, photographs, or necessary information has not been received.
Any delivery timeframe provided is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date. I will contact you if an unexpected delay materially affects that timeframe.
Payment
The price is displayed on the website at the time of purchase. Payment must be completed through Stripe before a reading begins.
You are responsible for any fees, currency-conversion charges, taxes, or other costs imposed by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Prices and available services may change, but changes will not affect a reading that has already been purchased.
Refunds and Cancellations
You may request a refund before I begin your reading.
Once I have begun reviewing your submission or connecting with your animal, the service has commenced and the payment becomes nonrefundable because time and personal services have already been committed.
If I am unable to provide the reading, you will receive a refund of the amount paid for the affected service.
Refunds will be returned through the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing times are controlled by Stripe and the applicable financial institutions.
Nothing in this section limits any nonwaivable rights available under applicable law.
Nature of the Service
Animal communication is intuitive and telepathic in nature. Individual experiences and interpretations vary.
A reading reflects the information I perceive during the conversation. I do not guarantee that every message will be recognized, independently verified, interpreted in a particular way, or produce a specific emotional, behavioral, relational, medical, or other outcome.
Readings are provided for personal insight and reflection. You remain responsible for how you interpret or act upon the information provided.
Veterinary and Professional Care
Animal communication readings are not veterinary medicine and are not a substitute for veterinary examination, diagnosis, treatment, medication, behavioral care, emergency services, legal advice, or any other licensed professional service.
I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or advise you to begin, change, delay, or discontinue veterinary care.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian or other appropriate professional regarding your animal’s health, safety, behavior, or welfare. If you believe an animal is experiencing an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary provider immediately.
Transitioned Animals
If your animal has transitioned, please include that information when submitting your details. Animals do not always volunteer this information spontaneously, and knowing it helps me ask the appropriate questions.
A reading cannot confirm death, determine the physical location of a missing animal, establish a cause of death, or replace information from a veterinarian, law enforcement agency, search professional, or other qualified source.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate contact and payment information
Submit only photographs and information you have the right to share
Provide enough information to identify the animal receiving the reading
Use the service only for lawful, personal purposes
Make your own decisions regarding your animal’s health, safety, care, and welfare
Communicate respectfully and refrain from abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct
I may decline or discontinue a reading if a request is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, outside the scope of the service, or presents a conflict that prevents me from providing the service appropriately. If work has not begun, any payment for the declined reading will be refunded.
Submitted Photos and Information
You retain ownership of the photographs, questions, and other materials you submit.
You grant Animal Communication with Audrey a limited permission to access, use, store, and process those materials only as reasonably necessary to communicate with you, provide the reading, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.
Your animal’s photographs and the contents of your reading will not be published, used in promotional materials, or shared publicly without your permission.
The handling of personal information is further explained in the Privacy Policy.
Ownership and Personal Use
The website’s original text, branding, illustrations, graphics, design elements, and other content are owned by Animal Communication with Audrey or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your written reading is provided for your personal, noncommercial use. You may save, print, and share your own reading privately.
You may not sell, license, commercially publish, modify for resale, or represent the reading or website content as the work of another person without prior written permission.
Website Availability and Third-Party Services
The website may use or link to third-party services, including Squarespace and Stripe. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
I do not control and am not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or performance of third-party services.
Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems, security concerns, or circumstances beyond my reasonable control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and animal communication services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
No express or implied warranty is made regarding uninterrupted website access, the accuracy or completeness of a reading, compatibility with your expectations, or any particular result.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Animal Communication with Audrey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website, a reading, third-party services, or decisions made based on a reading.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability for any claim relating to a purchased reading will not exceed the amount you paid for that reading.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Animal Communication with Audrey harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website or service, your violation of these Terms, or materials you submit without the necessary rights or permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact me and make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally.
Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or the services will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as the website, services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes will apply prospectively and will not materially alter the terms governing a reading already purchased unless required by law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written terms presented at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement concerning your use of the website and purchase of a reading.
