Terms of Service

Welcome to Animal Communication with Audrey. These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchase of an animal communication reading, custom illustration, or related service. By accessing this website, submitting payment, or requesting a reading, custom illustration, or related service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to purchase a reading, custom illustration, or related service.

By submitting information about an animal, you confirm that you are the animal’s guardian or have permission from the animal’s guardian to request the reading and share the submitted information and photos.

Animal Communication Readings

Animal Communication with Audrey provides private, asynchronous animal communication readings based on the photographs, questions, and information you submit.

No appointment is required. I connect telepathically with your animal and email you a written record of the conversation.

Each reading is for one animal. A separate reading must be purchased for each additional animal so each animal receives their own time and attention.

How the Process Works

To request a reading:

  1. Submit payment through Stripe.

  2. Complete the Reading Details form with your name, your animal’s name, one to three photographs, and any questions or details you would like me to explore.

  3. Once payment and the required information have been received, I will confirm your anticipated reading timeframe.

  4. Your completed written reading will be delivered to the email address you provide.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your spam or junk folder. Delivery may be delayed if payment, photographs, or necessary information has not been received.

Any delivery timeframe provided is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date. I will contact you if an unexpected delay materially affects that timeframe.

Custom Illustrations

Custom illustrations are created from your animal’s submitted photographs and completed reading. Illustrations may be created with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools and may include Audrey’s creative selection, direction, editing, and refinement.

Each illustration purchase includes one 8.5 × 11-inch high-resolution digital PNG delivered by email. No physical product or printed copy is included.

Illustrations are artistic interpretations rather than exact photographic reproductions. Colors and appearance may vary between screens, printers, paper, and framing methods.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to submit and use the photographs and other materials provided.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, each purchase includes one completed illustration and does not include revisions, alternate designs, or additional versions.

If an illustration is purchased with a reading, it will be created after the reading is completed. If an illustration is purchased later, you must provide enough information to identify the corresponding reading.

Any delivery timeframe provided for an illustration is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date. I will contact you if an unexpected delay materially affects that timeframe.

Payment

The price of each reading, custom illustration, or related service is displayed on the website at the time of purchase. Payment must be completed through Stripe before work on the purchased service begins.

You are responsible for any fees, currency-conversion charges, taxes, or other costs imposed by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Prices and available services may change, but changes will not affect a service that has already been purchased.

Refunds and Cancellations

You may request a refund for a reading or custom illustration before work begins on that specific service.

For a reading, work begins when I start reviewing your submitted materials or connecting with your animal. For a custom illustration, work begins when I start reviewing the materials for the illustration or creating its content, design, or artwork.

Once work has begun on the affected service, payment for that service becomes nonrefundable because time and personal services have already been committed. Purchasing a reading and illustration together does not make the illustration nonrefundable merely because work on the reading has begun.

If I am unable to provide a purchased service, you will receive a refund of the amount paid for the affected service.

Refunds will be returned through the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing times are controlled by Stripe and the applicable financial institutions.

Nothing in this section limits any nonwaivable rights available under applicable law.

Nature of the Service

Animal communication is intuitive and telepathic in nature. Individual experiences and interpretations vary.

A reading reflects the information I perceive during the conversation. I do not guarantee that every message will be recognized, independently verified, interpreted in a particular way, or produce a specific emotional, behavioral, relational, medical, or other outcome.

Readings are provided for personal insight and reflection. You remain responsible for how you interpret or act upon the information provided.

Veterinary and Professional Care

Animal communication readings are not veterinary medicine and are not a substitute for veterinary examination, diagnosis, treatment, medication, behavioral care, emergency services, legal advice, or any other licensed professional service.

I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or advise you to begin, change, delay, or discontinue veterinary care.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian or other appropriate professional regarding your animal’s health, safety, behavior, or welfare. If you believe an animal is experiencing an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary provider immediately.

Transitioned Animals

If your animal has transitioned, please include that information when submitting your details. Animals do not always volunteer this information spontaneously, and knowing it helps me ask the appropriate questions.

A reading cannot confirm death, determine the physical location of a missing animal, establish a cause of death, or replace information from a veterinarian, law enforcement agency, search professional, or other qualified source.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and payment information

  • Submit only photographs and information you have the right to share

  • Use submitted photographs and other materials only in ways permitted by their owners and applicable law

  • Provide enough information to identify the animal receiving the reading

  • Use the service only for lawful, personal purposes

  • Make your own decisions regarding your animal’s health, safety, care, and welfare

  • Communicate respectfully and refrain from abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct

I may decline or discontinue a service if a request is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, outside the scope of the service, or presents a conflict that prevents me from providing the service appropriately. If work has not begun on the affected service, any payment for that service will be refunded.

Submitted Photos and Information

You retain ownership of the photographs, questions, and other materials you submit.

You grant Animal Communication with Audrey limited permission to access, use, store, process, and provide those materials to service providers only as reasonably necessary to communicate with you, provide your reading, create and deliver a custom illustration or other related materials, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.

Your animal’s photographs, the contents of your reading, and your custom illustration will not be published, used in promotional materials, or shared publicly without your permission.

The handling of personal information is further explained in the Privacy Policy.

Permission to Share and Publish

Readings, custom illustrations, and submitted materials remain private unless you separately give permission for them to be used or shared publicly.

If you provide permission in writing, including through the Permission to Share form or by email, you grant Animal Communication with Audrey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, crop, excerpt, combine, adapt, and create derivative works from your reading and related materials. These materials may include the written conversation, submitted photographs, illustrations, excerpts, and other imagery associated with the reading. They may be used, in whole or in part, in portfolios, books, publications, websites, social media, advertising, promotional materials, and other print or digital media.

If you give permission to use real names, your first name and your animal’s name may be included. If you request that both names be changed, identifying names will be changed before publication.

You confirm that you own the photographs you submit or have permission from the copyright owner and anyone identifiable in them to authorize this use. You understand that you will not receive payment or other compensation for this use.

You may withdraw permission for future public use by contacting me. Withdrawal will not affect materials already published or distributed before your request is received, although I will discontinue new uses and remove materials from digital channels I control within a reasonable period when practical.

Permission to share or publish is optional and is not required to purchase or receive a reading, custom illustration, or related service.

Ownership and Personal Use

The website’s original text, branding, graphics, design elements, and other content are owned by Animal Communication with Audrey or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Animal Communication with Audrey retains all rights in its original creative contributions to readings and illustrations, including original text, selection, arrangement, creative direction, editing, branding, and design elements.

Your written reading and custom illustration are provided for your personal, noncommercial use. You may download, save, print, frame, and share your own reading or illustration for personal, noncommercial purposes, including on your personal social media accounts.

You may not sell, license, commercially publish, reproduce for sale, modify for resale, or represent the reading, illustration, or website content as the work of another person without prior written permission.

Website Availability and Third-Party Services

The website and services may use or link to third-party providers, including Squarespace, Stripe, and technology providers used to assist with creating or delivering purchased materials. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

I do not control and am not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or performance of third-party services.

Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems, security concerns, or circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, animal communication readings, custom illustrations, and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

No express or implied warranty is made regarding uninterrupted website access, the accuracy or completeness of a reading or illustration, compatibility with your expectations, printing results, or any particular outcome.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Animal Communication with Audrey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website, a reading, custom illustration, related service, third-party service, or decisions made based on a reading.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability for any claim relating to a purchased service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Animal Communication with Audrey harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website or service, your violation of these Terms, or materials you submit without the necessary rights or permission.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact me and make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally.

Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or the services will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as the website, services, business practices, or legal requirements change.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes will apply prospectively and will not materially alter the terms governing a service already purchased unless required by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written terms presented at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement concerning your use of the website and purchase of a reading, custom illustration, or related service.
